Kids Discover the New North Quincy Library

Looks like the local schoolchildren are getting a special tour on the afternoon of the new North Quincy Branch Library dedication on September 9, 1963.

Almost 55 years have passed since the grand opening but some things remain the same: the branch continues to be a favorite destination for children after school. Elementary, middle and high school students flock there every afternoon to read, study, do homework, and meet their friends.

The new branch layout will provide more defined spaces, computers, and age-appropriate seating for each age group and for adults, so all can enjoy this busy library at the same time. Have fun at the April 27 gala and help purchase new furnishings at the same time!
